[The video opens on America's legs. He's rolled up his pant legs and is sitting at the edge of the lake on Route 30, dangling his feet in the water. A sleeping hoppip rests on his knees.]

I'm kind of worried about Pinky you guys. [He turns the 'gear around to focus on his face, with Liberty on his shoulder as usual.] She's level 5 already and she still can't do any attacks. D'you think it's cause it's so hot maybe? Like, is she wilting or something? I keep givin' her berries and makin' sure she has enough water an' all. She seems happy and everything, I mean... but she just sorta flops around. Like a magikarp.

...Maybe she'll evolve into something really cool? But man, she's so cute. [He turns the camera to show the hoppip again, reaching down to skritch the base of her leaves.] I kinda don't want her ending up some freaky monster thing.

It's a video game thing. Handheld, y'know, so you can bring it around with you. They've got color ones now.

[Harry squints a little more, tilting his head.]

What does that have to do with anything?

Well like, in the games, if you press the B button when the pokemon's evolving, it makes it stop. But I guess you can't do that in real life pokemon on account of there's no B button.

[...slowly-dawning realization...

Haha well technically, I guess. It'd be kinda annoying if you had to say 'United States of America' every time though.

[America laughs. Liberty has taken an interest in the 'gear after hearing the squawking of his compatriot.]

Oh man it totally is. I'm sure he'd be proud.

[Harry's Rufflet tilts his head in when he hears his name, but Harry waves him off.]

Man, I'd hope so. I've got — actually, this might sound silly, but my roster is mostly named in honor of famous Americans. Like — I've got a team of Mightyena named after the first Supreme Court justices. A bunch of presidents, too.
